We are located in the picturesque village of St. Peter's on the Island of Cape Breton in Nova Scotia. St. Peter's is an historic site with plenty going on. An area so rich in beauty, local musical talent, historical sites, culture, festivals, generally fun times should not be passed by.

Nicolas Denys Days is an annual festival that strives to provide visitors to Cape Breton Island with an authentic Island experience. The festival scheduled the first week of August each year.
The many events planned for the week are hosted by various organizations to ensure that the whole community benefits from and participates actively in the festival. As a visitor to the area, this approach give you an opportunity to “get to know” our whole community and join in the fun all week long!

Celebrating its sixth year, Music Camp on the Canal is an annual weekend experience held the first weekend of June. The event begins with a reception/jam session on Friday evening; a Saturday full of workshops; a Saturday night All Star Concert featuring their faculty and special guests, followed by a Kitchen Racket with campers and players from the St. Peter’s community. Cape Breton’s top traditional musicians lead a variety of instrument, voice and dance workshops, Band Labs, and more.

Lobsters R’ Us Seaside Lobsterfest is an annual weeklong celebration of our long standing tradition of lobster fishing in the Municipality of Richmond County. Music, food, community and family fun awaits you in our little slice of heaven where the ocean meets the inland sea.
